this is the counter at which i was stationed for for the first day of work today, at the energy challenge fair at suntec. working thr for 10 days, nine more to go!! the business not very good sometimes will get really bored, hope it gets better tmr.

from yesterday late afternoon till this early afternoon, i have finally let it down, and realised the above. this station isnt right, i have to move on to the next station.. i know i cant force the issue, and have understood the situation very well now. clearly, and objectively. im glad (:

will explain to every out thr who was involved/interested/heard abt this b4 when we meet. haha thanks a lot for ur support/encouragement/just listening to me. i appreciate it. and its no big matter also, haha im making it sound too serious than it really is.

finally, have settled part of the "secret mission" this morning. ran two places, british high commission and ica, now just need to wait for the renunciation to be official and also have to apply for new passport. will do that online! today was much smoother than yday, very good. (:

this morning went on secret mission: to renounce my british citizenship at the british high commission as im 21 alr and need to take the oath to be a singapore citizen. it was a highly secure and guarded place as expected and it was very clean and the roads were v new.

upon reaching the office which handled passport matters, i took a queue no (above) and waited, and it looked like im the first ever person in the queue for that day lol. inside, there were many angmohs in blue uniform, all of them looking tall and bulky lol and i have to admit it is a little intimidating for me, reminds me of certain scenarios in shows/movies.

then when i was called to the counter, i was told to give the letter from ICA, which I DID NOOOOOTTTT BRING! oh mans. and then the lady gave me a checklist of things to bring, which included two photocopies of a few documents they needed! =.=

i was qt sian-ed and also a little angry/disgusted that this info was not available on their official website and how could anyone know wad to bring!!!! guess the only way is to really phone them up =X sighs.

so i have to make another trip down again tmrrrrrrrrrrr.

100 Plus Passion Run 2010


this run was held at ECP and as it was near my place, i arrived there on my own as scheduled, at 5pm for the flag off at 520 pm. just as i reached ECP, i received a call and genehow and eljx were still at stadium mrt station waiting for the shuttle bus!! argh. total zz there was a long queue the bus only comes every 10 min, so they were really gonna be really late.


so i went to sit at a bench by the beach near the flag off pt and witnessed the other runners going for the run. and later on even the SENIOR MINISTER has arrived but the two late ppl have not reached. lol. total SDP. finally they arrived at abt 620 pm and i would have approximately finished the race by then if i started on time. lollll.


And so we started with our run and after a while we ran at our own paces. i was quite determined to get a timing under an hour for this run (as i ended up walking in the last 10km run i participated in so i was eager to do much better) and pushed myself forward, reaching the mid pt at abt 26 minutes, which is a good timing. haha then as i was starting to feel tired, while continuing to push myself forward, i started taking deeper breathes and felt a little less comfortable.


there was a girl at the side of the path with a grp of frens, think for a bbq or something. then she took a snapshot of me and lol, guess wad she said. she said to her frens (i could hear her even though i was past her alr) that i had a guai lan face!!! omggg. haha sad la. but too bad i think i dun look too happy or handsome when i run LOL. bobian. i think i look like im in pain sometimes even. hahaha.


as the run went on i couldnt give up as i kept thinking abt the one hr that i want to meet. and there were more and more ppl walking/cycling on the footpath that i was running on! it became a natural obstacle for me as i had to siam here and there left and right. at abt 1km away from the finish, i was attempting to cut a person walking and out of a sudden i was confronted by this boy, prob pri sch kid, on a bicycle and he ran over my shoes/toes and "crashed". omg. luckily i looked at him and realised that he wasnt in a bad situation nor in great deal of pain. i stopped and asked him, after him having a blank staring moment at me, if he was all right.


rather bravely, he started to pick himself up. He reassured me that he was fine and urged me to carry on to complete my race. (Y) i felt rather motivated by his words and i decided to go on and this provided an extra push for me for the remaining distance that i covered. but on hindsight, i wish i had stayed and made sure he was really uninjured and made sure he could continue on his bike w/o problem.


in the end i took a self-timed duration of 58+ mins, w/in my aim! (: and by the time we collected our bags it was 8pm. i decided to bring genehow and eljx to bedok first b4 heading off for dinner at home (since it wasnt spelt out that we were having dinner tgt, they assumed so and altho i thought abt it somehow i didnt clarify) haha it was a terrible mistake to walk to bedok as it took abt ONE HOUR to do so, after a tiring run. sorry! :S


overall, it was qt a good run as the breeze and ppl ard helped matters. i see that there are many many ladies that took part in this run, probably the most i've encountered for all the runs i've been to so far. i guess it might also be due to the time that i ran and the categories' flag off timings (:
this is a bag that looked qt nice but in fact, its a little small and i think it will be collecting dust as well haha.

sunday was at novena square to collect the race pack for PASSION run next saturday. the run was sponsored by 100 plus and so there were some ppl giving away cups of 100 plus ard the area. (wad i call 100 plus uncles, instead of the more popular red bull girls haha.)

and as the drinks were dispensed by them into cups, the floor was made dirty and sticky, giving the cleaner uncles lots to sulk abt =S

had this crayfish pasta at Swensen's yday after table tennis in sch. hahaha. i haven tried this before and thus decided to try it rather than the fav black pepper seafood pasta. its truely "worth it" only during lunch with the one-for-one deal la hope they have this promotion FOREVER. lol. its very good and i have a changed opinion of Swensen's pasta now. i used to be less receptive of it perhaps due to the small portion relative to the price. but recently i have grown to like it more! and we spotted this deal, which somehow i haven seen it before even though on wednesday i was outside tampines mall swensens leh. haha, looks like a must try!!! but of cos must look at the small print cos some foods are not available wahaha i shld go next week man.

went for U-run organised by NTUC this morning at pasir ris downtown east. for the past few days i have not had many hours of rest and four consecutive days of exercise after a stagnant period of about two weeks made this qt a challenge. esp when i had only four to five hours rest the night before. hahaha. legs qt tired and also right ankle still in a little pain since weeks ago as well. luckily i managed to hang on and JIAN CHI all the way w/o stopping haha. not bad result in the end, self-timed timing of 47 minutes. (:
this is the back of the running bib after the run!! wahaha sia la i was like looking and seeing many black marks on my singlet and thinking hey wats that! wow it was this. zz. so lame. WHY ah, hahahha isit that my sweat was toooo corrosive? im not too sure why, but this defeats the purpose of having to write ur identity and emergency information on the running bib when the info will be removed unknowingly accidentally. zzz.

saturday was a very very long day haha but full of fun (suaning seng and chan) LOL. left hse at like 645 am and returned only abt 130 am. lol.. this is one of the better photos taken. look the tree is falling due to chan ying jie's force on it. using Newtons second law of F=ma, the force is estimated to be about F= (80 kg)(9.81 m/s^2)~785 N.

This force needs to be balanced if not the tree will fall and it took four muscular guys to support the tree la. okay three muscular guys and one stupid act-cute politician HAHAHA
