went for the starhub urban freestlye run this afternoon and i would have to say it wasnt a particularly good experience.
k the bib is not bad the shirt is okay, haha but the cost for the run was very high at S$55 dollars! its a 6.5km run but the thing which attracted me and eric and junhao to join was the interesting obstacles. its like a run with 9 diff "obstacles" along the way which actually serves more of advertising den challenge haha. but the idea was fresh and sounded interesting thus we signed up for it.
however, when we reached there, the first thing alr made us sian diao a bit. it was the muddy grasssss. cos it had rained in the morning and at the padang, the grass was muddy and our shoes were dirtied. it was qt sian esp for me as my shoes are quite new!! luckily its the army pair though ahha less heartache.
as for the run itself, the "security guy" who detailed ppl to be dispatched in batches was also too fierce and unfrenly for my liking. den as the run started, it was apparent that it was v poorly organised.
station-wise that is. becos there are soooooo many ppl compared to obstacles and being obstacles, time was needed for runners to clear them and it was not fufilling to run, den stop and queue for the obstacle. thats sucked. we waited damn long at the sony ericsson station. (well if thats the tactic to get ppl to rmbr there brand name than that worked perfectly lol) we waited for like about more than 45 mins just to climb over a "low wall" of a sony phone. hahaha...
the rest are also a bit sian diao altho we didnt really wait a long time, but the pt is that the run being not smooth and interrrupted largely negates the positive points taken from the run. haha i dun wish to elaborate too much but overall, the stations were not very fun and i cannot imagine runners who were on their own. how would they have survived the long waiting times alone!?
so i guess its a poor run overall. not satisfying. but nonetheless it was very interesting concept. i guess stations have to be built to accomodate more ppl at one go and that runners really need to be flagged off at longer intervals, which would den make the waiting-to-start part sucky too. zz.
but the towel and a adidas bag (below) were quite nice hahahah guess these and the company are the things i can take back today. lol.
i would not recommend ppl to run and will not take part in this again, unless maybe after a few years if its still held and much improved, then i will consider.

haha these papers show all the tests every class in the level for has for the term, in sec 4 haha. ty to all these papers for contributing to boring study weeks.

today marks the end of MKT1003. hahaha. having spent so much time on reading the textbk i have captured some of the cool stuff that i connected with. this is one of them, and i like it (: simple and effective, my style.
haha something interesting. oh interesting is over-used by me. haha i was writing my mkt notes that i suddenly realise that i din realise that i was alr holding three pens in my right hand LOL. haha. do u all hold ur pens like this sometimes? i do it frequently when i swap the pen i was using into my palm and hold another pencil to write. is it common? or do u all put down and pick it up. funny, i was wondering how many pens can i hold and write at one time haha
i've moved on.. and used another eraser. haha i think the eraser has been with me since like jc? or even sec sch maybe haha.. but its really getting tiny altho i use it very rarely but during studying i have been rubbing my pencil marks for my notes that its a little too small to be used. thank you for serving me for so long! (:

yet another treasure of the past maybe i shld set a new category TOTP. hahaha. anws, yup amongst my heap of reusable papers this was one of my time tables, the early part of hc year one i guess? lol. now it seems like everyday is so long and so many lessons! i like my uni time table better now (: interesting eh i tried to recall the days by the schedule but i dun seem to get much out of thinking, i guess my memory has limited space and these have been replaced by other matters alr..
one of the things i love about reusing one-sided papers for doing practise/writing notes is that besides doing a little to save the Earth, i get to see such totally cool stuff abt the past. hahahha wads this! a monkey mascot competition for cny! lol i was in the cca exco for the events but i dun rmbr who represented our class in this hahhaha. funny.
our team does need someone like ronaldo in it. forward/attacking midfielder/winger that is dynamic and can score goals, can be a match-winner by himself. im eagerly waiting to see whether we can make any big name transfers this summer! hopefully we can den have a squad to win the title again next season. a team that can win, that doesnt rely on ONE man. exciting. meanwhile, the transfer window at other clubs will also be v v interesting as man city, chelsea and real madrid are all also likely to spend big bucks again.
hahaha stupid expression from toothless is really cool. its like, its not cute, but yet cute. interesting! will i get to train a dragon? maybe...
its the time of the sem to start mugging again! haha this blog would probably be updated less frequently/punctually as well. well when the time comes, pretty things like headings and decorations to my notes are the things that make me happy lolll. it makes the studying process easier (:

was at munchie monkey for lunch after table tennis on friday and this was wad i had-carbonara. its not too bad and was filling. jus felt the egg was missing!!
been working on mkt1003 group project assignment for the most part of these two weeks. haha although its not really THAT many things to do but its just the main focus and concern and much time was spent on it. haha this is just one of the background i did for the ppt. (:
